Jacqueline Rangel

Dancer/Yoga instructor

Between dancing, hiking, wine tasting, and whale watching, we’re adding something special to help you stretch, reset, and keep dancing all night.
Many of you know Jacqueline Rangel — a dear friend, a beautiful dancer, and a professionally trained artist with a strong background across multiple dance styles • yoga instructor.
She will be leading a 50-minute yoga class designed especially for tango dancers.
This class focuses on breathing to calm the mind and enhance connection, followed by a gentle warm-up to increase mobility in key areas like the spine, hips, and ankles. Through stretching and core activation, you’ll release tension, improve flexibility, posture, balance, and endurance — leaving you energized, grounded, and ready to dance with greater ease.

Yelizaveta Nersesova (Los Angeles, CA)

Women Leading: A Social-Tango Starter Lab

Special Addition to Your Marathon Experience!
We’re excited to introduce our second special class:
Yelizaveta Nersesova (Los Angeles, CA)
Women Leading: A Social-Tango Starter Lab
Curious about leading but not sure where to start? This class is a supportive on-ramp for followers who want to lead socially - so you can feel confident on a milonga floor and start playing with musicality right away.
We’ll build the ABCs: how the embrace and intention shift when you move from following technique into leading, and how to communicate clearly through torso, timing, and weight (not force).
Then we’ll work with a small “minimum viable vocabulary” you can actually use immediately, including:
* base pattern
* simple left turn
* simple right turn
* ocho cortado
We’ll finish by making these pieces musical - so it’s not just execution, but expression.
No partner needed. Beginner + intermediate friendly. Partner rotation included.
